Offering a huge vintage Tim Lazer hand blown studio art glass aqua blue / turquoise 19 vase with slash cut rim, gold leaf, dichroic glass, and black veining. Thick, heavy (15 1/2 lbs), cased glass vase with gold & I believe copper throughout. Black lines with a touch of blue. Random areas of gold leaf. Angled cut top opening. This massive vase rests comfortably on a 3 1/4 diameter base. Please see photographs as they are part of the description. Tim, with more than 20 years of experience working with glass, has an amazing technique and knowledge of the fugitive nature of hot glass. The process he has developed uses layers of glass, glass powders and precious metals which are fused onto the glass surface to achieve a lustrous, iridescent, opalescent, opaque or transparent piece. Take a moment to review our other wonderful estate finds.
