Art Glass Vase GARTNER BLADE Strata Series Signed 1998 Earth Tones withSilver
Large hand blown contemporary art glass vase from the Strata Series by Gartner Blade signed and dated 98 (for 1998) in earth tones of beige, brown and golden hues in a 11.5 inch size in excellent vintage condition. The name Gartner Blade is for the Artists Stephen Garnter and Danielle Blade that have been doing artisan, hand-crafted pieces since 1996. This version of the urn vase under the Strata Series line certainly comes early in their career, as this vase is signed and date 98 (for 1998). This vase is in shades of the earth and this Strata line was created and inspired by geological formations. You can certainly see that inspiration in this vase as it does look like a nature made piece rather than a man-made hand blown glass artisan piece. This is signed and etched near the bottom portion of the vase showing, Gartner Blade in script writing and also 98 (see picture). This vase is an urn shape style. The vase is 11. 5inches tall and 6 inches at widest part and 4 1/4 inches to top opening. This vase has a silver rim border on edge of top of vase. This is in excellent vintage condition. CONDITION: This designer vase is not new and has been displayed and enjoyed. There are NO cracks, chips or issues and comes to you in excellent vintage condition.

Nathan Sheafor – Co-founder. The Glass Forge first lit its furnaces on Memorial Day of 1998. The Glass Forge Gallery and Studio uses traditional Italian art glass techniques to create the wide variety of art you see on our website. Most of our work is done in a team-oriented fashion, with a gaffer directing the art being created. These techniques have been practiced for at least two thousand years.
