Rare Swung Vase Colorful Hand Blown Art Glass Multicolor Abstract Signed 9
Rare Swung Vase Colorful Hand Blown Art Glass Multicolor Abstract Artist Signed 9 Tall. Pre-Owned and in clean, good condition. No chips, cracks or issues to disclose. This is quite the interesting piece. We’ve been trying to identify the artist, they’ve etched their name into it. See photos for close up of that. We’ve been unsuccessful in finding the region or maker. It’s just so beautiful and unique, with elements of muran style, swirls, cobalt blues and a tone of carnival rainbow glass. It’s has such a wonderful glow and shimmer. It even has partial texture.

Luca Vidal Glass Windows Vase 17.5h with skyscraper style paned windows on two sides. Can’t photo this well Sorry. Has a wide sash. Around the middle which has a cut battuto technique on an added layer of pale clear crystal. This is stunning and causes the’how did he do that? Reactions that all we glass nuts have. The’windows’ are great, precise and lined up so one can see straight through. One could stick a bouquet into it, but this is more a work of art than a utilitarian object in my opinion. Probably from the 1980s and the condition is as if it stood in one place. For most of its life. I’m only listing this for a couple of weeks and will add some more photos of this dramatic vase along the way. Started working with glass at the tender age of 14 at Studio Vetreria DP on Murano. There he studied under the Glass Maestro, Imperio Rossi for two years. He then went to the Effetre International where he learned the most difficult techniques. There, under the guidance of the masters, Gianluca developed skills that would excel his true talent for glass making. Over the years Gianluca has worked with some of the most important Glass Maestros on Murano. These include Afro Celotto, Silvano Molin, Luciano Pavanello, Giancarlo Tagiapietra and Dino Vio, to name but a few. Gianluca earned the nickname’Crema’, due to his natural ability to gracefully shape glass as a cream! Now, in his own studio on Murano, he works with coloured glass canes, to create his beautiful glass art. He designs and hand makes every piece himself and with one assistant. Gianluca signs and dates each piece, adding “Murano” and 1/1 to signify they are completely unique. Gianluca has mastered techniques which few glassblowers can complete and has a unique sense of colour and composition of the pattern. Suffice to say, he is an incredible and very unique glass artist. Certainly, he is one of the most well known and well-collected glass masters on Murano.

Art Glass Vase GARTNER BLADE Strata Series Signed 1998 Earth Tones withSilver
Large hand blown contemporary art glass vase from the Strata Series by Gartner Blade signed and dated 98 (for 1998) in earth tones of beige, brown and golden hues in a 11.5 inch size in excellent vintage condition. The name Gartner Blade is for the Artists Stephen Garnter and Danielle Blade that have been doing artisan, hand-crafted pieces since 1996. This version of the urn vase under the Strata Series line certainly comes early in their career, as this vase is signed and date 98 (for 1998). This vase is in shades of the earth and this Strata line was created and inspired by geological formations. You can certainly see that inspiration in this vase as it does look like a nature made piece rather than a man-made hand blown glass artisan piece. This is signed and etched near the bottom portion of the vase showing, Gartner Blade in script writing and also 98 (see picture). This vase is an urn shape style. The vase is 11. 5inches tall and 6 inches at widest part and 4 1/4 inches to top opening. This vase has a silver rim border on edge of top of vase. This is in excellent vintage condition. CONDITION: This designer vase is not new and has been displayed and enjoyed. There are NO cracks, chips or issues and comes to you in excellent vintage condition.
