Height: 9.4 inches, Length: 8.2 inches, Width: 8.2 inches, Weight. There is no damage. Hand made by skilled artisans in Daum’s Nancy, France workshops. The high quality of this sculpture is immediately apparent even to someone not familiar with Daum or luxury crystal. It is really an impressive piece. Since 1878 Daum Crystal has been one of the leading French luxury crystal manufacturers. Paté de Verre is an ancient process that has been updated and refined by Daum. Sculptures are created using the lost wax method. Crushed glass beads of various colors are placed into a mold and then kiln Fired For 10 Days. The glass beads fuse together into a solid mass with color variations, small bubbles, and interesting textures. Every piece is unique, no two Daum pieces are exactly alike. The artisans at Daum are able to capture both fine details and subtle contouring. Each glass sculpture will radiate with light and color. This is a magnificent example of Daum’s Pate de Verre. Daum has posted a video that walks you through the Paté de Verre process. Measures 13 inches in height by 15 inches long. Weighs a whopping 25.2 pounds. Comes with the original Daum foam fitted box.
