Le Verre Francais is one of many types of cameo glass made by the Schneider glass factory in France. The glass was produced by the C. Schneider factory in Apnay-sur-Seine between 1918 and 1933. It is mottled glass, often decorated with floral designs, and bears the cut signature Le Verre Francais. A piece of red, white and blue striped glass, sometimes called a “candy cane”, was placed at the base of the talisman cup as an additional sign.
