The elegance of the form and the uniqueness of the decorations devised by the designer G. The small imperfections and the rare air bubbles which may me formed inside the glass are not defects, but proof of a genuine handwork. Preowned in good condition. Large, Vintage Handcrafted Art Glass Vase, Signed John Gerletti, Dated 1988, 10

Large Vintage Art Glass Vase, Signed John Gerletti, Dated 1988, 10 Tall. This striking piece of vintage, studio art glass was handcrafted by John Gerletti, a superb creator of art glass since the early 1980s. His pieces are hand-blown; the diverse colors in each of his unique glass creations were formed by the incorporation of different colored pieces of glass which Gerletti melts and adds to each unique piece of art glass. This particular art glass vase was signed and dated “1988” by Gerletti; the signature and date are incised on the base at the very bottom. Right after the date, is what looks like “LaVerne” perhaps the location of where it was made? I have included several photos of the bottom, so I hope you can see the signature, although it is a little difficult to see in the photo because of the reflections (but not difficult in person). The vase is quite large and impressive measuring 10″ tall by 12.5″ wide by about 8 deep. The vase itself is a lovely pink color cased glass; the colors in the decoration include a rich chocolate brown, a light blue/gray, black, white and numerous shades of sepia/gold/ochre/tan. All of these colors blend well into a detailed pattern which is contemporary/modern in design, for which Gerletti is known. The glass is clear in a few areas and opaque/opalescent in most others. The outside surface has a rich, raised texture which provides interest and adds to a sense of movement which the vase creates visually. The vase is quite heavy and substantial, not frail and delicate as is some art glass of earlier periods. The vase is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or signs of repair. There is dust inside and on the surface since I did not attempt to wash the vase; I have found that my customers prefer the vintage items to be in original, as found condition. If you prefer, you can make it look sparkling new again by giving it a good washing. If you like original Gerletti or “modern” art glass design, you will enjoy this piece of art glass history. Large Art Glass Amethyst Flamenco Vase Signed Vitrix 2006

Up for sale here is a signed Vitrix 2006 ” Flamenco ” Amethyst vase I believe was made by Thomas Buechner one of the great Glass Blowers who works at Vitrix. The vase is Amethyst in color with frosted crystal glass twisting around vase. I believe these vase were call ” Flamenco ” vases. The vase stands 9 3/4 ” tall and is 4 ” across the frosted twisting clear glass. Check out the Cranberry ” Flamenco ” Vitrix vase I have for sale also. Large 14.5 Tiffany Studios Favrile Pulled Feather Trumpet Vase with Bronze Base

Offering this Large Beautiful Tiffany Studios Art Glass vase made in North America Ca:1910. The Vase is aprox. 14.5″ tall with a 5.5″ wide opening. The vase has a nice Green & Gold. Pulled Feather Design over a Pearl White Base Color- Great. Bronze vase holder is signed: Tiffany Studios New York 1043. On the tapered bottom end of the glass vase is written LCT. Please note: This vase has a very tight hair line crack that’s. Close to the bottom of the vase; I only became aware of it during the photographing of the piece. It runs almost half way around the glass; It’s not visible from the interior of the vase, and there’s no movement what so ever on the glass. If you wanted to try to repair this, you might be able to put aprox. 1 inch of epoxy into the tapered bottom in the interior of the vase, making it one solid piece. When the glass is put into the bronze base, the cracked area is totally secured by the base, and not visible. The rest of the vase looks good with no noted chips, repairs, or cracks. This is a 10.5″ vase with a 5″ diameter. The shape is both conical and bulbous as well as footed. The decorations are green hearts and gold vines against a cream background. Large and Heavy Lalique Ingrid Vase 10.5 Inches Tall, 18 lbs MINT

Massive clear and frosted Ingrid Vase. Design #12289 by Marc Lalique. This is an exquisite vase perfectly executed and in mint condition. I could find no chips, fleabites, scratches, bruises, scuffs, repairs, or other signs of damage. Has protective scratch protecting pads on the bottom. Looks perfect to me. My fourth photo shows the vase sitting next to a lamp. Notice how this vase captures and redisplays light. It really comes alive when well lit. Marcs design is a sensual blend of frosted and smooth glass complimented by the delicately formed fluid lines. There are four very large frosted leaves rising up from the base of the vase. The leaves are separated by clear crystal. They are also deeply indented into the thick crystal walls of the vase. The deep indentation of the leaves somewhat explains the extra thick walls of this vase (0.8). Hand-crafted in Laliques Alsace France workshops. As best I can tell, this was designed in the 1960s. It is now retired. Measurements: A little under 10.5 inches in height, Top Diameter about 8.25 inches, base width at widest point about 5.625 The vase walls are extremely thick measuring about 0.8 inches. The form is cylindrical and tapering. Weight approximately 18 pounds. This is an exquisite and beautiful lead crystal vase. René Lalique founded the company and managed it until WWII. He died in 1945 and was succeeded by his son Marc. Marcs first big decision was to switch the formula from 12% lead demi crystal to 24% lead crystal. This made the products much brighter, sparkling, more transparent, and much heavier. This vase takes great advantage of this cyrstal and displays beautifully. We do not have the original Lalique box.
