Charles Lotton Art Glass is very well known and highly collected. I always enjoy finding examples of his work out in the marketplace. One of the classic styles of art glass has always been his lava glass examples. One of the pictures shows his signature and the date, 1989, of production. The vase stands just over 9 tall with an opening of 4 1/4 across. I have included numerous pictures of various angles and lighting for this listing. I will note that on the bottom where the silver colored glass fuses into the vase, there is an area where you can feel a sharp edge. This is not damage nor repair, just from the production process of this work of art. A fine well ground, polished pontil can be seen also. There are no chips, cracks, damage, or repairs, no missing silver glass appliqué. No staining or scratching on the inside visible.
