Decorated with cameo cut enameled burnt orange and green leaves and flowers on a dark mottled background. A technique in which crushed glass is packed into a refractory. And then fused in a kiln. During the Universal Exhibition of 1900, Daum was awarded a `grand Prix` medal, and over the years the pieces became more and more elaborate with intricate designs, engraved details and use of various colored glass.
