Offering a spectacular Oball, Murano, Italy, hand blown art glass sommerso ovid shaped vase by the famous Luigi Onesto. Signed on the base Oball L. Onesto Murano Italy Ottdore 1993. Measures approximately 9″ tall and 7″ wide. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. There are a few scuffs on the surface. Please see photographs as they are part of the description. Vetreria Oball was established in 1970 in Murano, Italy. The founding father Luigi Onesto was one of the greatest Murano glassmakers in Italy. VINTAGE MURANO ART GLASS 7 5/8 OBALL VASE Sommerso VETRERIA ARTISTICA Onesto

Stunning large vintage Murano art glass vase designed by Luigi Onesto, of Vetreria Artistica Oball Glassworks, between 1980 and 1989. This piece beautifully showcases Onestos mastery of the Sommerso technique. It features three layers of color encased in clear crystal. An absolutely beautiful piece of true Venetian glass. It has the original sticker label on the top front and is etched on the bottom. It measures approximately 7 5/8 tall x 3 at its widest and is 2 1/8 at its deepest. Bowl has a depth of about 3 7/8. The base is 1 3/8″ by 2 1/8″. I will be happy to send additional photos upon request.
