Nils Landberg Orrefors 3595-1 Glass Smoke Glass Vase Signed 7 Tall FREE SHIP

Based on my research as well as the signature on the bottom, I believe this to be a Nils Landberg Orrefors Sommerso glass vase. The signature says Orrefors, and then I think it is a NU, then 3595/1. It measures 7″ tall and 3.75″ wide at the widest part. There are no chips or cracks. There are however scratch marks on the bottom where the signature is, and a few at the very bottom part of the clear glass. Condition: Very good condition with some residue in interior of the vase which can likely be cleared by soaking with vinegar. Glass Vase by Nils Landberg for Orrefors. Dusk Series, Signed & Numbered. 1955, Mid-Century Modern, Sweden. Etched on the underside of the vase is Orrefors (maker) NU (designer + glass type) 3538/4 (production year/number). Although we are 65 years on from when this vase was produced, many today still crave the same minimal clean Modernist design, quality materials and exceptional craftsmanship featured here. The fact this vase is still in excellent condition in 2020 and could easily slide into a contemporary setting, does say a lot about the designer and maker. Original Mid-century Glass Vase by Nils Landberg for Orrefors. Dusk Series, Signed & Numbered. 1955, Mid-Century Modern, Sweden. Etched on the underside of this vase is Orrefors (maker) NU (designer + glass type) 3538/7 (production year/number). Although we are 65 years on from when this vase was produced, many today still crave the same minimal clean Modernist design, quality materials and exceptional craftsmanship featured here. The fact this vase is still in excellent condition in 2020 and could easily slide into a contemporary setting, does say a lot about the designer and maker. This is a more elongated example of one of the less common forms available from the Dusk series collection. It measures 25cm high and is made of solid handblown clear glass that encases an olive underlay.
