CRANBERRY GLASS TRUMPET VASE HAND BLOWN withCLEAR BASE PONTIL SIGNED

Stunning vintage hand blown trumpet cranberry glass vase with fused clear base. Pontil can be felt on underside. Underside above pontil is signed. Signature is etched into glass. 9 12 inches in height; approx. 6 inches in diameter across the top of vase. Vertical ribbed pattern on vase. Base is NOT translucent clear – base has what appears to be a basketweave type of pattern. If you hold it up to a white background you can clearly see the pattern and the signature. No chips or cracks. ANTIQUE 19thC 13 SIGNED BACCARAT HAND CUT CRYSTAL VASE BRONZE DORE BASE PERFECT

A magnificent hand cut Baccarat crystal vase set in a bronze dore base. The exacting crisp crystal design shows that the hand-cutting was done by a master. The crystal design is very intricate, starting from a two stepped up base then the more intricate design is larger at the base and graduates with the same design reducing smaller each of 4 times to the scalloped top. Hallmarks: It has the Baccarat signature stamped into the bronze base. This type of signature was used by Baccarat on its bronze chandeliers components, vase bases etc. From the 1800s forward. Condition: It is in immaculate condition. The bronze dore base has its original finish and no flaws. The crystal is in immaculate condition with no flaws whatsoever!
