Smaller vase in excellent condition, larger vase has overall excellent impression with minor shallow indentation at base that is visible if closely inspected on the underside. No watermarks or scratching. Featuring beautiful solid clear and grey handblown Stromberg crystal. Etched on the underside of each vase is Strömberg B894 This model was featured in Strömbergshyttan’s early catalogues, where’B’ signifies’Blomvas’ or floral vase. These original mid-century vases were designed in the late 50s by Gunnar Nylund while he was Artistic Director at Strömbergshyttan glassworks in Sweden.
